Jan Hendzel take on the classic bureau desk is one of the four distinctive pieces that compromise Jan Hendzel’s new collection, Drumlin. Named after the geological phenomenon found on the west coast of Ireland and the Irish word droimnín meaning “little ridge”.
The Drumlin Desk is characterised by a smooth, rounded and three-sided lip which creates a comforting and personal atmosphere. The desktop is made of quilted English ash, a very rare timber, and the lip-frame of Olive ash, and digitally machined into a soft and sumptuous form to complement the voluminous hand turned legs.
Additionally all the main component parts can be fully disassembled and either reused, repaired or recycled.
