Drumlin Table

POA

An imposing table made from Olive Ash that was originally designed for communal gathering in a contemporary library space. The expansive, variegated surface, with its elegant elliptical top offers lots of room for friends, family or colleagues to come together and debate, eat or just get messy. Discreet power pods can be fitted within the table for a more practical working space.

Four solid cylindrical domed legs are hand turned and purposely located at end of each corner to showcase what Jan calls the ‘kissing points’ which is the exquisite balancing point of the dome’s peak and where it meets the monumental table top. The bullnose detail at the table’s edge is a generous section for your hands to wrap around. These playful yet daring joinery details paired with pieces made at substantial scale are studio hallmarks.

The Drumlin Table is one of several pieces that make up the Drumlin collection. Drumlin, from the Irish word a droimnín, or “little ridge”, refers to the enchanting geological phenomenon of the same name found on the west coast of Ireland. Discover the collection here.

Unless otherwise stated, we choose to finish our products in a nourishing natural hardwax oil that penetrates deep into the timbers surface offering a robust and hard wearing finish. This finish provides a good surface treatment against a variety of spillages and general usage.

Keep your furniture looking its best by wiping it with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid using damp cloths on oil-treated surfaces if possible
