Using a large green section of London plane from Camden council, Laminated Spherical shapes from Grown in Britain (GIB) ash, and a little segmented European beech with an otherworldly glow.

Made using 100% reclaimed timbers. The radiant rich Rouge and Burnt Orange spheres are from a tropical timber called Opepe. We only had a few sections of timber so were pleasantly surprised by the differing colours.

It’s not often we would use tropical woods, but in this case it was the perfect accompaniment to the project. The reclaimed Opepe was taken from a boardwalk restoration project on the south coast. The Boxes are reclaimed oak lock gates taken out of the Avon and kennet canal.
