A series of bespoke jewellery boxes designed and manufactured for Oushaba – A jewellery brand using recycled e-waste to produce luxury goods. Each box is digitally carved from solid British timber – either Ash or oak. The lid is then faceted with a band saw, leaving a rippled, polished and unique finish.
The insert has been milled from expanded cork – A material produced by binding cork together using the natural resins that are released when exposed it to high pressure and steam. This insert can be removed from the box to allow for other objects to be stored within it, prolonging the box’s life.
